Hello. I get an error
Access to path "c:\MemberSites\MemberSites_AspSpider_Org\artashes\webroot\Files\57"
is denied.

Can you add delete permission to the "c:\MemberSites\MemberSites_AspSpider_Org\artashes\webroot\Files"
folder?

If you have a free hosting plan for example...here, You're not have access to delete anything in the file system because the aspnet user doesn't have permisions for that.
If you have control of the webserver, you can use impersonate tag in the web.config file to execute your application with an user who have permisions over the folder what you want to delete.

Hi,

I can't delete a file within my application either. Is there a way to do it please ? Can I obtain a user which has full rights on a particular directory of my website ?

Hi

I venture to reopen that issue because I need my website to delete files. Is there a way I can do that ? Is there a user you can provide me who would do the trick ?
