I thought that if I posted at least 5 replies that I could access my files. I understand that only serious programmers are wanted here, and that is exactly what I am, but I have a busy schedule as I am currently going to school full time. I have a lot of advanced math to study at school as well as web programming on my own, here. I think the requirements to keep an account is too strict.

I don't think like you. Every things in life have a cost. this is not a expensive price for the results. If you have time to programm, you must have time to share your knowlegde with others..
thanks

I'm glad that you are in such a moral superiority that you are capable of judging whether or not you like me based on one comment. My web page is where I practice programming as well as the place where I explain how I program. I am just beginning. By the way for all of you who have something against Americans just because we are from the United States, I do not have any money, was not born with any money, all of the manufacturing in my community has gone to other countries, am going into serious debt in order to get an education at a school that costs more in gas to get there that does not offer web programming classes. I appreciate the free access to these servers for the purposes of learning, and I have nothing against freely sharing the knowledge that I am going into debt to learn myself. Please get rid of your attitude against me, because it is unwarrented and seems to be based on irrational hate.

James,
It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. Posting replies is a serious time requirement whan you have so many irons in the fire, and paying for hosting is not financially feasible right now for a lot of people.
There are some other sites that offer free hosting without this requirement (brinkster comes to mind), but aspspider has its advantages.

Eric,
It's free, a small cost.

maybe you could post the answers like me, in my lunch hour at work?
i've learned a lot from the forum and experienced the joy of being genuinely appreciated when helping someone solve a problem.
get into posting and the polite responses and gratitude will keep you coming back.
you may make some friends, not just allies.
I've got to say, i really like your site and I reckon you'll have no problems fulfilling your quota (5 per month) in no time.
I hope you stay on ASP Spider as i reckon i could learn a lot from you.

Brinkster uses an older technology: classic ASP. It looks like this free ASP.NET site is going to start charging, now, anyway, so I guess this will be good bye for me. Microsoft charges way too much for their server technologies. I guess I will go learn me some PERL and be done with it. If Microsoft would lower their prices, all of those older Linux servers would eventually switch over, and we could all program on Microsoft servers, but no...Microsoft is a giant pig of a company. It's too bad that this site is no longer going to be free. I actually was in a better mood knowing that at least someone was out there who gave a crap about poor people getting a chance to better themselves. Oh well, I guess I will go back to being cynical again. Gas prices are going to keep going up. Food prices are going to keep going up. Microsoft will continue to charge out their rear ends, and the United States will soon completely collapse into an irreversible depression. So long, folks. Life really sucks!
