Hi, All,


I have attached SQLExpress database and when try to connect it by the connection string from hosting help. But that stated login error.

What should I do to solve this issues ?

Hi,

The error was like this Cannot open database "blueray2048_appdata" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'DOTNETSPIDER1\blueray2048'.

i am also getting the same error......
i think that aspspider admin should provide us the password of the default user 'sa' of Sql server.
this will surely resolve the issue.

the connection string will thin look like this:
SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection("server=.\\SQLExpress;uid=sa;pwd=password;database=username_database");

this issue has been resolved..... the password to the user sa is not required at all.

and the connection string will be of same format as that given at http://aspspider.com/tips/Tip18.aspx>
