ASP .NET has made it easier than ever to deliver fully functional web applications. With the amazing DEV IDE, VS 2008, Microsoft has made sure that everything from the user interface to the functionality is delivered in minutes. This does not mean that I am advocating that time should not be taken to design and develop a web site; yet, the time has been significantly reduced because of the IDE.

Microsoft has given so much publicity to its ASP .NET technology that third party development companies have also started to roll out products that can deliver fully functional database driven dynamic web applications in minutes.

One such tool is Iron Speed Designer. Iron Speed delivers fully functional web site (database driven) for free. The evaluation version provides for some limitations; however, it is a good tool that every developer must try out.
